How To Updgrade Your Infinix Hot Note X551 , From Kitkat To to Lollipop 5.1 OS, without PC






You can now upgrade Infinix Hot Note X551 to 5.1 Lollipop OS without the use of a computer, Anyway Thanks so Much to the release of the official flashing tool by Infinix.

All You Need is To set The andriod To Recovery Mode and Follow the below procedure provided for You.


HOW YOU CAN UPDGRADE YOUR INFINIX X551 TO LOLLIPOP WITHOUT PC



Before you commence, please note that Infinix has not made this Lollipop Stock ROM to receive OTA Update, therefore future updates will need to be flashed into your system just like you are about to do this flash this ROM into your Infinix Hot Note.


If you are satisfied with the above downside, follow the steps below to continue the upgrade.

=> Kindly Click here to Download the Lollipop Stock ROM.

=>Save the downloaded file in the root directory of your SDCard.

=>Press and hold the Power and Volume down button to boot into Recovery mode.

=>While in recovery mode, Select update from SD Card, select the downloaded file and choose Yes


After Your Successful installation, Select Re-boot and after that,

Say Good bye to KitKat and Welcome to Lollipop

Hello. Is there a need to do backup before attempting the update? Will data(videos, photos, music) be wiped? Thank you.

There will be Need To Back Up, Because It is Not an OTA Update.. If it were to be OTA There will be no need for that..
