Easy Method on How to Root Your Tecno Phantom 6 (A6)

Wow, I must say am one of the Lover Android device, because any Android unleashed by tecno must be Rooted in one way or the other, I must Say this, Tecno Phantom 6 is one of Tecno stubborn device when it comes to rooting.

But we thank God for the Help of Hovatek for the importation and deportation of the guidelines required to root this device because the phone runs currently on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Before you Root this your device there is things you are required of. Which are listed below

ReQuirements

1. Your Tecno Phantom Device
2. Patient in following the Steps Below.
3. Unlocking the Boot loader of the Tecno phantom 6 (A6)
4. Super SU.zip (Download Super Su.zip
5. Twrp Recovery image owned and ported by Hovatek (Download Twrp Recovery image


How To Root Your Tecno Phantom 6 (A6)

1. Copy the downloaded Super SU to the Both the Memory Card and the internal Storage.

2. Set up your ABD and Fastboot on the PC using this Guideline Here

3. . Extract and copy the Twrp recovery.img into the same folder as the fastboot.exe and adb.exe

4. Now Unlock your Tecno Phantom 6 bootloader Using the Guideline Here

5. Connect the phone to your PC via USB cord while switched ON and boot it into Fastboot (as instructed in the Bootloader unlock guide; remember to enable OEM unlocking and USB debugging)

6. The moment your device enters fast boot flash, the recovery.img to the phone by typing the command below

fastboot boot recovery.img

Then Press Enter and proceed with the other Procedure.

7. The device should automatically enter twrp recovery mode In TWRP, if you get a prompt asking you to swipe to allow modification of the System partition, tap KEEP READ ONLY If TWRP offers to root the phone, select NO

8. In TWRP recovery, tap Install

9. Navigate to the location of the SuperSU2.76.zip from the SD card or Internal storage and select it

10. Swipe to confirm flashing of SuperSU.zip and wait till flashing is completed.


At this Point you are almost done just Reboot the phone normally.

Once you are done, confirm if your device has been successfully rooted by installing Root checker.apk
