Google Launched First Developer Preview For New "Android O" Operating System

Not Long ago after the release of Second beta version of the Android Nougat 7.1.2, for Pixel and Nexus device. But rumors and teasing have been circulating regarding New "Andriod O". Although base on my finding "Android O" Might not be the Official Name for Next android version but it should just been address with Android O for the main time.

Google had officially launched another Android version which codenamed is "Android O". Google has Also released the "Android O" Developer preview images with lots of features like Adaptive icons, PIP, Notifications channels. The preview images can be downloaded by Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Pixel C, Pixel, Pixel XL users. Although The stable version of Android O will be available in Q3 of 2017. Well, it’s still the early status, so the first version of Android O won’t be rolling out to the Android Beta program.

Picture In Picture: This feature lets users to watch a video which switching to a different app. This feature is similar to what YouTube does once you pressed the back button while watching a video.

Multi-Display: Well, if any activity supports multi-window mode and is running on a device with multiple displays then users can move the activity from one display to another.

Notifications Channels: This version includes new notifications channel which lets users create fully customizable channel for each type of notification that they want to see.

Snoozing: This is the new feature that can snooze notification to reappear again at later time. Well, guess what? With the help of this feature users can see important notifications at the same level of importance, they first appeared with.

Notification Timeout: This feature lets users set a duration after which a notification should be canceled.

Background Limits: With this feature, Google puts additional automatic limits on what apps can do when they are in the background. This feature will save battery life than never before.
